Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 9 oz Vanilla Sugar

  • 8 egg yolks

  • 3 cups Half and Half

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup heavy cream

Directions

  • Heat heavy cream and Half and Half to a simmer

  • Wisk egg yolks to a light and creamy consistency.

  • Slowly add surgar to eggs while wisking.

  • Once sugar is fully integrated, slowly ladel heated cream into the eggs, wisking to combine.

  • Once fully integrated, return to heat and bring to 170 degrees, stirring frequently.

  • Add flavoring and Vanilla extract, hhill to below 40 degrees.

  • Churn in ice cream maker until ready.
